Atlanta, GA—The International Woodworking Fair has issued the IWF 2022 Preview Guide. The 115-page digital publication details how the show has been reconfigured for attendees, and highlights new exhibitors and education programs.
The Preview Guide outlines key information on registration, travel, hotel accommodations, and local entertainment for the Atlanta show, running at the Georgia World Congress Center from Tuesday August 23 through Friday August 26. Special features are highlighted such as the IWF Challengers Distinguished Achievement Award and the Design Emphasis Student Furniture Design Competition.
What’s New for IWF 2022 is detailed on page 35 to showcase how the Trade Show and Education reconfigured since the last IWF, including:
All exhibit halls—A, B, C, BC—at the Georgia World Congress Center will be occupied by IWF 2022, including the newly constructed BC Connector Exhibit Hall, and are listed in the Preview Guide under 540-plus product categories covering technology and material. IWF is designed to help attendees find ways to harness the power of new technologies to increase production efficiencies, new products to drive sales, and new connections to tap emerging markets. Significantly there are already more than 125 new exhibitors for IWF, more than 10 percent of the 1,000 companies projected to be on the floor when the doors open August 23. In the listings by exhibitor category, the IWF 2022 Preview Guide provides a snapshot of the woodworking industry for both today and the years ahead, with significant shifts evident. As might be expected the exhibitor listings covering saws stretches across three pages, with three categories of Cutoff Saws, plus Miter, Gang Rip, Sliding Table, Portable, plus CNC Panel Saws, and Horizontal, Vertical, and Beam Panel Saws.
Listings under key technology categories have grown, including CNC Controlled Equipment (35), 3D Computer Software (19). There are an impressive 23 firms listed under Custom Designed Machinery, with perhaps the largest count, 92 firms, listed under Door Manufacturing Equipment. Flooring Manufacturing Equipment lists 44 firms. And 66 companies are listed under Material Handling Equipment.
In the materials arena, the Preview Guide list 35 firms under Edgebanding Materials, 32 under Panel Products, 18 Coatings firms,
