Course Description

Presented and Sponsored by: Hastings Air Energy Control

This dynamic two-part session gives attendees a powerful, practical understanding of combustible dust hazards—from risk identification and testing to NFPA compliance and proven mitigation strategies—and how today’s intelligent control technologies can dramatically reduce those risks while improving system performance.

In the first half of the seminar, Dr. Ashok Ghose Dastidar, PhD, MBA (Fauske & Associates) brings over 31 years of research and real-world experience in dust and gas/vapor explosions to deliver expert insight into the science, dangers, and compliance requirements surrounding combustible wood dust.

Following a short Q&A, Bradley Evans, Retrofit Solutions Manager at Hastings Air Energy Control, will shift the focus to practical application. He’ll highlight how Intelligent Control Systems:

  • Minimize combustible dust risk
  • Significantly reduce energy consumption
  • Increase dust collector capacity
  • Improve ROI through available grant opportunities

Attendees will leave with both the technical knowledge and actionable solutions needed to improve safety, efficiency, and compliance in their facilities.
