Nampa, ID—The Stow Company will build a $143 million manufacturing facility in Nampa, ID, a massive investment in the Western U.S. for the Holland, MI-based firm, one of the largest businesses in the fast-growing home organization market.
Construction began in March of 2022 with completion projected for May 2023. The new state-of-the-art facility will employ 236 workers and is Stow’s third U.S. location. In February 2020, The Stow Company acquired Gorgeous Garage, a storage products company based in Rexburg, ID.
“This new facility in Nampa is a critical milestone in Stow’s growth and will help us more effectively support our customers who reside in the western half of the United States,” says Randy Tallman, COO of The Stow Company. “Adler Industrial and the city of Nampa have been great partners and we’re excited to bring over 230 jobs to the Nampa area in the year ahead.”
Established over 30 years ago, The Stow Company manufactures a range of organization solutions including closet organizers, garage storage systems, pantry organizers, wall beds, laundry storage, entertainment centers, and mudroom storage. The organization systems are marketed under dealer, retail, and e-commerce operating groups: Inspired Closets, ORGHome, Easy Closets, Easy Garage and Easy Track.
The City of Nampa and Boise Valley Economic Valley Partnership worked together to help The Stow Company locate the new plant, part of a 194-acre industrial park with 16 buildings totaling 2.5 million square feet, which received $10 million in local infrastructure investment last year.
