Denver, CO—R/W Specialties a portfolio company of Strength Capital Partners, purchased the assets of America Building Products and merged operations with it.
Founded in 1965 and headed by CEO Rob McCrae, R/W Specialties is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products to customers in the Mountain West. Headquartered in Denver, CO, it has operations in Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and Wyoming.
America Building Products (ABP), based in Jefferson City, MO, is a dedicated distributor of interior and exterior doors, windows, cabinets, hardware, and millwork, serving customers in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Illinois, and Arkansas. In business for more than 30 years, ABP offers state-of-the-art pre-hung door and millwork capabilities to meet exact specifications.
