SCM Debuts Gabbiani Vertical Panel Saws

Duluth, GA—SCM launched a line of vertical panel saws made in Italy in partnership with Gabbiani.

Its Gabbiani V, VS, and VSI saws are developed to meet the different configuration needs of every kind of production setting, says SCM (IWF Booths B6953, B6973, B7153, B7173, B7373), listing advantages offered by its approach to the vertical cutting format:

  • Reduction in space on the factory floor: SCM’s new vertical panel saws are functional and compact and can be easily placed into any work space, even the narrowest ones, while still providing maximum cutting performance.
  • Greater power and resistance over time: the new Gabbiani range is powerful and sturdy, and has a stress-resistance capability superior to and longer than that of competing machines in its category, thanks to its special frame assembled with electrowelding.
  • Some models offer several options: either without a scoring unit, or paired with a scoring unit with two saw blades, or addition of an independent motor with mechanical insertion.
  • Versatility: Gabbiani vertical panel saws can cut different types of wood materials.
  • Speed and precision: saws allow for one or more panels to be cut simultaneously

Some models make particularly precise cuts, others are more suitable for making pre-cuts that will be completed by sizing edge banders or CNC machining centers.
