Started in downtown New York City in 1926, the Schmidt Company sells standard tooling for shapers, moulders, tenoners, saws, CNC routers, haunchers and planers. They can also manufacture custom tools to your specifications in their state of the art facility in Montvale New Jersey. Using the latest CNC equipment to produce the tools, woodworking shops both small and larger rely on them to supply quality tools when needed throughout the United States and surrounding countries. Cabinet and door companies, custom wood working companies, moulding manufacturers, architectural woodworkers, home builders, flooring manufactures and store fixture companies are some of the companies that use their services. Insert panel raising cutters, stile and rail sets, and profiling heads designed to be used on shapers are the newest additions to Charles G. G. Schmidt’s product line. Moulder heads, including HSK heads are available from stock. Our insert line of surfacing heads can now be made up to 13 long. We also offer a extensive line of solid carbide spiral router bits and standard router bits. Our accessories include spacer sets, bushings, measuring tools for cabinet hardware installation and planer knife setting.
