For over 80 years, N.R. Murphy has manufactured the most complete line of dry dust collecting equipment available, from small to large and everything in-between. We also manufacture our own exhausters and related equipment, including replacement filter bags for any manufacturer. Our products are built to last … our dust collectors are totally welded, angle iron reinforced, wiped galvanized with a satin coat finish – it is not uncommon to see our dust collectors in operation for 20-30 + years. Not to mention we have dust collectors still in use that are 40 and 50 + years old. In 1972 the demand for our products in the United States necessitated the formation of a subsidiary company to service this market. Norm Murphy and Otto Seeman of Rodgers Equipment formed a partnership which resulted in a new company called Murphy-Rodgers Inc. in Los Angeles, California. Murphy-Rodgers Inc. manufactured products based on N.R. Murphy’s designs and concepts for the US market and N.R. Murphy Ltd. manufactured dust collection products for the Canadian and export market. After the passing of Otto Seeman, in 2010, the decision was made to close the Murphy-Rodgers Inc. operation and transfer all engineering, sales and production to N.R. Murphy Ltd. We at N.R.
