Kamps Hardwoods, Inc. manufactures kiln dried lumber from standing timber harvested throughout Michigan. Kamps dries and inventories a diverse mix of species, grades, and thicknesses. Species include Walnut, Ash, Cherry, Red Oak, White Oak, Soft Maple, Hard Maple, Hickory, Poplar, and more. Lumber thicknesses range from 4/4 to 12/4 and is produced according to NHLA grading rules. We offer live-edge slabs and boules are also open to programs which require custom specifications. Value added services include steaming, surfacing, ripping, proprietary grading, width pulls, color sorting, and mixed loads. The Kamps Hardwoods group also owns and operates Buskirk Lumber Sawmill which gives the ability to control the resource all the way back to the forest.
