Course Description

This session, presented by Fagus Grecon, Inc., will discuss measuring and evaluating of your mat formation process in order to improve/maintain board quality while reducing the amount of material (wood, wax, resin) in every board. This will include:

  • Different ways to analyze the Mat and ways to improve board formation.
  • A discussion on how foreign objects can also be discovered during this process.
  • How to save money by reducing materials in your Mat while achieving as good or better results.

As a secondary component, we will review the evolution of formaldehyde measurement from the lab to inline. Including the lab testing process from the original Dynamic Micro Chamber (DMC) to the latest 15-minute Gas Analyzer.

  • This will include the latest on inline measurement of formaldehyde emissions in order to make more immediate changes to the board process before waiting for lab confirmation results.
