ALCEA was founded in 1932 by Giovanni Parodi, and after 90 years, is still a closely run company managed by the Parodi family, based in Milan, Italy. We are highly specialized in the development and production of wood coatings which include stains, pastes for solid pigmented colors, acrylics, polyurethanes, polyesters, and water-based products for interior and exterior applications. The wood industry requires high-quality coating solutions that enable process cost reduction and that can be adapted to customers’ ever-changing needs. Powder and metal coatings, pastes, and coatings for the building sector are also part of ALCEA’s offer which distinguishes itself for the wide range of products and the highly qualified technical staff that provide support to customers. The strength of ALCEA has always been represented by product Research & Development always respecting the environment and safety requirements. ALCEA maintains a state-of-the-art, modern production site in Senago (Milan) – in Northern Italy – to support its customers around the world with just-in-time production and delivery with local warehousing in North America. ALCEA is an Italian based company with two different production sites in Northern Italy but starting from 2007 our company moved outside the country boundaries and a production plant was installed in central France and two years later another one in Poland. Since 2020 our brand has been promoted in Northern America thanks to a sales office and distributor based in Ontario, Canada. A strong sales network to over 40 countries and a close partnership with local distributors enable ALCEA to meet market needs globally every day.
