Leesburg, GA—Woodgrain Millwork will invest $10 million in expanding its manufacturing operations in Georgia, hiring 150 in Leesburg in the southwest part of the state, to meet increased demand.
“This expansion is a key component of our mission to leverage our vertical integration to deliver premier service and customer driven millwork solutions,” says Cole Wilkinson, plant manager at Woodgrain Millwork.
Headquartered in Fruitland, ID, privately held Woodgrain Millwork has six U.S. manufacturing locations producing doors, windows, moulding, and other millwork. It will expand its current facility in Leesburg by 156,000 square feet, with expansion of operations to be completed by the third quarter of 2022.
Founded by Reed Dame in 1969, the Woodgrain companies have become one of the largest millwork operators in the world. Reed Dame led the company as CEO for more than 30 years until Kelly Dame succeeded him in 2009. Woodgrain Millwork manufactures and distributes quality wood moldings, doors, and windows, supplying Atlanta-based The Home Depot, among other clients.
