Comments can be submitted through March 27 to the Architectural Woodwork Institute on its American National Standard AWI 0642 for wood paneling proposed standard.
The comment period is now open for comments on a new proposed standard for wood paneling from the Architectural Woodwork Institute.
Proposal AWI 0642 addresses performance and appearance standards for wall and ceiling surface panels, including those made of solid wood, veneers, laminate clads, and other paneling. The comment period opened on Feb. 10 and runs through March 27.
In a statement announcing the comment period, the AWI said, “During this time, the architectural woodwork community has the opportunity to review the draft standard and share their comments with the AWI Professional Staff and Technical Committee.” Comments can be sent to the AWI website at gotoawi.com.
