IWF Education Sessions

The next IWF will take place August 25-28, 2020 in Atlanta, Georgia at the Georgia World Congress Center. IWF is where industry professionals find the educational opportunities that allow them to help their companies improve products, work more efficiently, expand to new markets and ultimately become more profitable.

IWF also offers a wide array of Education Sessions that take place from Wednesday through Friday during the Fair. The IWF 2018 Education Conference features more than 65 sessions, attended by over 2,000 IWF attendees.  You can view several of these session on our IWF Education Portal for a small fee.

All sessions in the IWF Education Conference are presented by subject matter experts from within the woodworking industry and IWF community. Session proposals from interested speakers are reviewed by IWF Show Management to ensure they of interest and relevant to out attendees. While sessions cover a wide variety of topics, they fall under the tracks listed below.

IWF 2018 also hosted 10 All-Day Symposiums focused on several industry related topics that took place on the day before IWF 2018 officially opened.

Education Sessions by Track

Business Management

These sessions may be of interest to all management and production personnel from small to large manufacturing companies, trade associations, consultants, distributors and research/training specialists.

Manufacturing & Design

These session may be of interest to finishers, plant and operations managers as well as designers, finishing line managers and others who are interested in learning more about lean and other manufacturing processes or who have an interest in the cabinetry, millwork, retail and furniture industry.

Marketing & Business Development

These sessions may be of interest to management and sales personnel, trade association staff, and consultants.

New Business Sectors

These session may be of interest to those wanting to learn more about emerging business sectors such as inkjet and 3D printing, digitally produced surfaces and high end concrete.
