WoodEye widens the field of vision for hardwood &spamp; Flooring

After its success in inspections of parquet production (more than 30 scanners in operation for Parquet production alone!), WoodEye is making new breakthrough with broad applications for hardwood and especially in the Flooring applications. We have developed new detection tools for shake, fiber control etc. Today, it is possible to sort and optimize hardwood in regards to nuances and aesthetic qualities in applications such as, edge-glued panels, furniture components, solid flooring and parquet – without any additional equipment. In other words WoodEye has now for some time been offering the same high inspection capacity for both hardwood and softwood.

Also in latest installation we have developed new detection methodologies for detection of Shake and micro cracks as well as dimensional measurements for tongue and grove.
