It has arrived… Introducing the new MPI-400

 Stevensville, MD –Miltec UV, a woman owned company, not only just celebrated its 20^th Anniversary but has also added to their family another piece of innovative UV technology, the MPI-400.  The powerful benefits of Miltec’s new 400 Watt per inch electrodeless UV system make the MPI-400 the best system for maximum UV cure efficiency.  It makes an excellent choice for high speed curing processes that require high peak irradiance, benefiting the Wood Industry.  A major benefit of Miltec’s new MPI-400 is the ability to operate several different types of bulbs, each with different spectral output.  Choosing the bulb spectra that is best suited for a particular chemistry will maximize the overall curing efficiency. 

What gives this unique piece of equipment its horsepower? The engine that powers this high performing UV system is the MP-400.  Its modular design allows it to easily retrofit existing microwave powered UV systems.  The MP-400 also has two selectable power levels which can automatically or manually be controlled as a function of production speed to prevent overheating and over-curing at slow production speeds.

Furthermore, the MPI-400 includes a conventional 10 inch irradiator that utilizes the latest patent pending RF screen technology.  This screen includes captive quick release fasteners making it quick and easy to remove and attach the RF screen.  The new RF screen material used is a significant improvement over the conventional screen used by competitors, which allows more UV light to transmit through the screen to the substrate.  In addition, the reflector material used is a premium material for UV reflection, which will deliver more UV light to the substrate.
